Fast & reliable redundancy switching

You can depend on the compact 2:1 ProSwitch. The system monitors your MPEG-2 TS and seamlessly switches to a backup stream to maximize uptime. You can use this flexible 1-RU appliance for any architecture, including ASI-based headends and IP-centric networks.

Flexible architecture possibilities

 

The ProSwitch is equipped with a 100/1000 Base-T port for control and supervision. The unit can be supervised and configured remotely through any standard web browser, and provides a complete display of switching configurations, along with easy-to-read input/output status information, error-log data and bitrate graphics. The ProSwitch embeds an SNMP agent for centralized management applications.

You’ll get a fast, dense and reliable 2:1 MPEG-2 transport stream redundancy switch. Offering up to 16 2:1 IP switches or four 2:1 ASI switches in 1-RU, the high-density ProSwitch provides cost, power and space savings, helping operators to save on CAPEX and OPEX.

Quantum multicodecs increase the number of audio links as would be achieved combining many Quantum ST codecs within a reduced space, inheriting all its key features such as its widest range of audio compression modes, stability, flexibility and easiness to use. Each Quantum One module has two Ethernet ports allowing bandwidth aggregation (Bonding) and redundant transmission (Diversity). A third Ehernet port is used to support individual remote control of each audio module via embedded web server or centralized management via ProdysControlPlus.. Optional Dante/AES67 or Ravenna/AES67 modules are available to provide an interface for uncompressed digital audio over a single Ethernet cable replacing all the individual audio inputs and outputs.
Quantum2 W is an all-in-one box solution for remote commentaries linking two bidirectional audio streams with four independent voices, sounds or mixed audios to the studio or Host Broadcast Center. Perfect sounds are encoded using a choice of advanced and low delay compression algorithms for sport and music. Highly reliable transmissions are achieved using Diversity and Bonded streams over a group of network interfaces (2x Ethernet, 2x LTE and Wi-Fi). Additionally, a video downlink stream can be decoded internally and shown on a general purpose monitor, enriching the information supplied to the talents. A video video uplink is also possible for the transmission of images from the commentators to the studio. It also allows to insert audio into the received video and to forward  a single synchronised video and audio stream  to the studio.
