A high quality 1080p Video Delay solution is born.

The TSS-1080p Variable Time Delay incorporates the ability to delay a 1080p broadcast from 30 seconds up to 24 hours. Just as in the TSS-2470II, the amount of delay time can be adjusted on-the-fly without loss of any currently recorded time. The applications for being able to reliably and frame accurately delay a 1080p video stream range from live competitive gaming events to theatrical production.

The TSS-1080p maintains the high quality 1080p image by using H.264 compression at 100Mbps to reproduce the delayed feed with exceptional quality. As with all our servers, high reliability is achieved by using sever grade components, RAID 5 storage, redundant power and cooling and a space saving 1U chassis.

Maintaining a simple user interface makes adjusting and readjusting the amount of delay time easy. Establish an initial delay time in the primary delay window, then utilizing any of the four preset buttons or transport controls, change the delay as needed. This methodology provides users with a simple way to initiate different amounts of delay time without the need for manual recording and rebroadcasting. The input feed is automatically delayed the set amount of time without any further user inputs required.

Like the TSS-2470II, the TSS-1080p still supports all broadcast formats – 720p, 1080i, 1080p and NTSC/PAL at frame rates of 29.97/59.94 or 25/50 Hz. Because the TSS-2470II transports high-value program content, it employs a four-drive, RAID 5 disk array for enhanced reliability. Drives and power supplies are hot swappable allowing the system to continue running without downtime. With its 1U form factor, power consumption is low, and forced-air cooling extends component life and reliability.

Should the the TSS-1080p system need to be controlled from a remote location, the included Remote Workstation software application can be used to connect to the server GUI or the optional GPIO triggers may be implemented. Other features include high-quality 10 bit video with up to 16 channels of embedded audio and support for closed captions and other VANC data. A live feed monitor output and frame accurate delay from 30 seconds to 24 hours or more, round out an excellent standard feature set.

DescriptionThe new TSS-1080p Variable Time Delay can alter the delay time on-the-fly, providing users an excellent method of controlling the high quality 1080p video delay feed. Delay Presets and traditional jog/shuttle allow you to play any portion of the delayed program from 30 seconds to a day or more.More channels for the same price* = lower cost per channel. For those customers requiring high playout channel counts, the TSS-4000 provides exceptional cost per channel. The TSS-4000 is a compact 1U server with up to 8TB of storage and offers 4 simultaneous HD or SD playout channels. With the same software and the core reliability of the TSS line of server, the TSS-4000 is the choice for broadcast quality playout.

Professional Quality

For real-time record and play operations, the high-performance Kiva+ Presentation video server utilizes high-quality AVC-Intra video hardware. When AVC-Intra Class 100 media files are imported into Kiva+, no media file transcoding is involved so they are imported in the shortest amount of time, and with professional-level image quality. Import speeds can range from 5X up to 40X real-time when 10-gigabit data connections are used in conjunction with external storage devices that incorporate similar, extremely high-speed technology such as storage devices featuring modern NVMe SSD technology. Kiva+ can also easily ingest media files created with just about any other video codec. These files will be cleanly transcoded into the AVC-Intra codec upon import into Kiva+.
The latest iteration of the 360 Systems flagship video server introduces an even smaller form factor, playout of a recording in progress, network folder sharing and 1080p output. Plus, all of the same features as before with HD and SD compatibility and flexible file format support. All standard.COMING SOONThe new TSS-2470II Time Delay can alter the delay time on-the-fly, handling simple time zone shifting, “mountain minute” style commercial insertion or disaster recovery operations. Delay Presets and traditional jog/shuttle allow you to play any portion of the delayed program from 30 seconds to a day or more.

Channel Pairs

Kiva+ is available in three different “channel pair” models, so you can choose the option that best fits your production needs and budget. In the Kiva+ One-Channel model, there is one base-band video+audio recording input, one Video+Key Preview Player output, and one Video+Key Program Player output. The Kiva+ Two-Channel model doubles these video channel resources, and the Kiva+ Three-Channel model triples them. Are you on a limited budget or have smaller-scale productions and not yet ready for the Kiva+ Two or Three-Channel models? Start with the One-Channel model and then upgrade to the Kiva+ Two-or Three-Channel model when your budget permits or when your production needs change. Upgrading is a simple as plugging in one or two PCIe video boards into the Kiva+ server chassis.

A Global Standard for Time Shifting has some new tricks

The TSS-2470II is 360 Systems’ latest model of Broadcast Time Delay, bringing the ability to adjust the delay setting on-the-fly without loss of any currently recorded time. This gives it the flexibility to handle applications for Mountain Minute commercial insertion, schedule alterations and disaster recovery as well as simple set-and-forget time zone shifting. The TSS-2470II offers the same basic features and built in reliability as the standard TSS-2470. With HD and SD compatibility, frame accurate delay, RAID 5 storage, redundant power and cooling and a space saving 1U chassis, the TSS-2470 maintains the quality and reliability customers expect from 360 Systems. The simple user interface makes adjusting and readjusting the delay time easy. Establish an initial delay time in the primary delay window, then utilizing any of the four preset buttons or transport controls, change the delay as needed. Time zone differences can be easily compensated for without the need for manual recording and rebroadcasting. Simply enter the desired delay time and click run or reset the delay time without having to restart the delay. The input feed is automatically delayed the set amount of time without any further user inputs required. The TSS-2470II supports all broadcast formats – 720p, 1080i and NTSC/PAL at frame rates of 29.97/59.94 or 25/50 Hz. The TSS-2470II can also be controlled remotely with our Remote Workstation software or with the use of GPIO triggers. Other features include high-quality 10 bit video with up to 16 channels of embedded audio and support for closed captions and other VANC data. A live feed monitor output and frame accurate delay from 30 seconds to 24 hours or more, round out an excellent standard feature set.
